We all love going on holiday, but in many cases it can seem like there is a lot of work and organisation to do before we can finally relax in Greece for a week or two. When you make your travel arrangements, it is always worth bearing in mind how you are going to get to the airport. Naturally, the easiest solution is to drive yourself to the airport, but then there's the issue of where you can afford to park your car whilst you are away. Take the time to compare all the different deals on airport parking, to ensure you're getting the best value, and then you can enjoy your holiday without worrying about the car.
The most commonly used form of airport parking, and probably the one you're most familiar with. These car parks are located at secure spots around the airport, once you've parked up, you just need to jump on a shuttle bus that will take you the rest of the way to the airport, you feet barely need to touch the ground. For your peace of mind, they have security patrols 24 hours a day so you know your car is safe while you're away from it for an extended period of time. Also, as the car park is available 24 hours a day, you can park or pick up your car at any point, which is especially convenient if you're travelling on a night flight.
The concept is very similar to off-airport parking, except these car parks are usually located within the airport complex. Shuttle busses, if required, are usually a five minute journey maximum, but more often than not, you're within walking distance of the terminal. The close proximity to the airport is especially if you're on a tight schedule, or running behind, as you know you'll be able to check in quite quickly.
If you really want to feel like royalty, then airport valet parking is for you. Once you've booked yours, you simply need to drive your car to the terminal, where you get out and a chauffeur takes your car the rest of the way. You're then free to check in and enjoy the rest of your holiday. Once you return to the airport, you will find your car already waiting for you to drive yourselves home. Valet parking is ideal for the OCD in all of us, as we all worry we're going to miss our flight, even though we know we've left in plenty of time. A meet and greet service is great for any traveller on a strict timetable.
